There’s something magical about fall that always sparks my creativity. The crisp air, the changing leaves, and that golden sunlight filtering through the trees. It all feels like an invitation to slow down and make something beautiful.
What Aspects of Fall Inspire My Creativity the Most
For me, it’s all about the colors and the coziness. The deep oranges, golden yellows, and rustic reds always get my mind spinning with new project ideas. I find myself pulling out yarns in rich, warm tones and imagining how they’ll come together in a shawl or cozy wrap. And honestly, when the weather turns chilly, there’s nothing better than snuggling up under a blanket with a crochet project in hand. The combination of color and comfort makes fall my most inspired season. Check out my Cozy Crochet Nook HERE!
My Favorite Fall Drink
When it comes to fall flavors, I’ve been completely obsessed with Hot Chai Tea lately. Since I can’t have dairy, I’ve started making it at home with store-bought chai tea concentrate and oat milk. My go-to ratio is two parts tea concentrate to one part oat milk, and it turns out perfectly creamy and comforting every time. It’s like a warm hug in a mug, and it pairs beautifully with a crochet session by the woodstove.
My Favorite Fall Project
If you’ve been around my channel for a while, you probably already know this answer, shawls are my fall love language. There’s just something about draping a handmade shawl over your shoulders that feels both cozy and elegant. Fall shawls are my favorite because they let me play with color, texture, and of course my favorite stitch-the virus stitch-while creating something that’s both wearable and artistic.

Whether it’s the colors, the coziness, or the cup of chai in my hand, fall always reminds me why I love being a maker. It’s a season that feeds my soul and inspires every stitch.
Keep the Cozy Going!
My friend Cydney from Sweetpea Cyd’s Inspirations is also sharing her fall favorites over on her blog, and trust me, you’ll love reading her take on what makes this season so special. Head over to Sweetpea Cyd’s blog to check out her post and see how she’s celebrating fall creativity, too!
